Institutional Strategic Plan Development: Managenment and Control.

This article describes the experience developed at the University of Concepcion during the process of developing and managing its Strategic Plan 2006-2010. It addresses the alignment of corporate foundations around the strategic objectives proposed and the consistency and adherence to internal development plans of each Faculty in relation to the University overall plan. It also includes the creation of a base for a Management Control System associated to the ongoing monitoring plan. During the development of this process, the University of Concepcion has identified several critical factors for success that shares with the academic community, at national and international levels.Downloads
