The contribution made by the Instituto Profesional DuocUC to higher education in Chile is based on a curricular model designed to provide their students with labor skills that industry -in any particular line- considers essential for professional performance. The model described in this paper allows institutions whose educational model is expressed as preparation for integration into the job market, to design and keep up study plans based on graduation profiles that reflect the labor competencies validated by industry, thereby ensuring that they are relevant and up to date with industry needs.Downloads
