Abstract

Today, students' mobility in higher education acquires a great importance. The efforts made to interchange programs that supply assistenships for a period of time are more and more frequent. This paper describes the benefits and results. The speed with which scientific change takes place and technology's incredible advance demands a revision of the university's system. It is necessary to allow flexibility in prerequisites and to incorporate elective general subjects. The experience due to CRISCOS' and the State's Universities Consorcio's mobility programs, is a clear example that integration - which allows mobility- constructs an interesting path towards a new type of forming university students.
