This study shows the difficulties Chile faces when trying to generate a collaborative culture among universities. In spite of it, it presents four examples of collaborative agreements between the University Alberto Hurtado and other higher education institutions.
First of all, the broad project on social responsibility "The University Builds the Country"; in second place, a degree offered together with the Catholic Universities of Valparaiso and of Santiago, on Development and Poverty; thirdly, possibly a doctor"s degree together with he Universities of Concepción and Catholic of the North, and, finally, the general collaboration agreement with the Catholic University of Chile.
