In the past years, academics from Austral University of Chile felt impairment in the relationship they had with authorities. That impairment was so severe that when the Union Association called them to submit demands before authorities, they rejected to participate for they considered it was a waste of time. This fact caused the Board of the association proposed them to form a union. This work describes the experience of forming a union conformed only by teachers in a Chilean university, the process needed to materialize it and its outcomes.Downloads
