Abstract

This article shows results from a case study aimed to learn more about the experience of indigenous girls studying at universities in Chile, because they represent one of the groups who experience a high level of educational inequity. The study addresses the relationship among educational record, experience in universities and ethnic identities considering three Chilean indigenous people: Aimara, Mapuche and Rapa Nui.
