This document discusses the study conducted between April 2005 and March 2006, sponsored by the Higher Council of Education of Chile (Consejo Superior de Educación, CSE), on the institutional management "models" being developed in a group of universities belonging to the Council of Presidents (Consejo de Rectores), after the implementation of the pilot project for the voluntary institutional accreditation process undertaken by the National Commission of Accreditation (Comisión Nacional de Acreditación, CNAP). The conclusions include a set of recommendations for the improvement of institutional management in such universities.Downloads
