This article discusses the experiences developed by Santo Tomás University of Chile and the network of members of the International Council of Saint Thomas Aquinas Universities, IC-USTA, to uphold equity among the faculty and students throughout the world in the access to information and knowledge, and that cover the fields of teaching, research and extension activities.
