Abstract

The paper summarizes the views of participants at the national meeting on "Policy Proposal for Teacher Training" regarding the main problems and progress in initial teacher training at Chilean universities. Some proposals on guidelines are also set forth, as are some necessary tasks agreed upon by consensus by the different groups present.
