Abstract

The study describes the features of university socialization at the School of Psychology, Universidad Central, and its relationship with the social identity of fifth year students enrolled in that study program. Interest for this study arose upon observing the sustained growth of the higher education system over the past decade, lack of understanding regarding the value system guiding these new institutions and Á¦as a consequence of the foregoingÁ¦ the influence that they can have over the identity of professionals in training.
