Formación de médicos especialistas: un desafío pendiente.

Programs to train specialists offered by Schools of Medicine have undoubtedly made a contribution to national medicine by taking on the challenge of making available graduate physicians whose training matches current scientific advancement and the country"s needs.
Study programs need to be constantly updated in order to ensure a flawless practice of a given field of expertise, ensuring the quality of training under the supervision of graduate schools.
The article emphasizes the significant contribution made in recent years by the School of Medicine of the Universidad de Chile to the training of specialists in the field of medicine and these figures are supplemented by specialists trained by other Schools of Medicine.
